Top 10 discovered sites of 2005

There were more than a few sites in 2005 that I just fell in love with. The ideas, ease of use and overall execution of vision in some of these is just astounding when you think about it. Most of them are really small ideas too, but are just beautifully done. Most of [...]

ArcadeFly update

Work on ArcadeFly is going great. Hitting a few css and javascript bugs that are holding me back though. Here’s a list of bugs I’m currently trying to fix:

open/close background image doesn’t show up either in the modules (on the left) or the graveyard (where nav items go when closed).

Over in a flash

Seems as though this week went by in a flash. Pretty much everyday I’ve been working, messing around with programming stuff from when i get home until 3 or 4 in the morning, sleeping for 4 hours — then doing it again. Doesn’t sound too exciting, but some of this new Ajax stuff i’ve [...]

For the first time i started looking into other addons besides the Web Developers Toolkit (the addon that encouraged me to use it over IE in the first place).  But looking into it now there’s so much more!  Even now I’m typing this post in a Firefox ap [...]

hmm.. productive night

One of the problems I’ve always had when developing websites was finally solved for me today. I’ve tried tons of ways to develop sites: oop driven templates (like phpBB uses), header/footer files (ddrei/dymension), and then times where everything was a custom function call like title() to output the title in some fancy way for [...]

Browsing Alexa

Alexa.com is a great web site when you’re looking at the best in something. I was browsing around with no real aim and found a few intersting advertising sites I might look into. What i was really surprised with was how much Craigslist has grown o.0 They’ve gotten about 10x bigger in [...]
